Looking to keep improving in the off-season? Hockey camps around the area offer a great opportunity for players to develop their skills, build confidence, and stay game-ready. From skating and puck skills to game play and conditioning, these camps help players continue their growth beyond the season.
Be sure to check back often—we’ll continue sharing more camp opportunities as they become available!
Upcoming camps:

"Train with our Skating & Scoring Specialists and discover what it takes to move like the pros. Since 1998, AK’s results-driven skating curriculum has helped thousands of players from the beginner to the NHL level develop BALANCE, TECHNIQUE, POWER, and SPEED (“BTPS”) from the skates up. Every session is built around the NHL mindset, creating work ethic, confidence, and the right habits to turn skating technique into scoring power."

CDAHA has a limited amount of gear available for loan each year. Gear includes: shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, pants, shin guards and a gear bag.
To check out gear, you must attend one of our Gear Check Out nights, bring your registration confirmation, and a check in the amount of $150. Cash or cards can not be accepted. Your check will only be cashed in the event that you do not return your gear by April 1, or if it is lost or destroyed. If all your gear is returned at the end of the season and in good condition, your check will be returned to you or voided.
Please keep in mind that while some larger gear is available, most sets are sized for Mites and Squirts. Gear is loaned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please see the Gear page for more information on what you will need to purchase for your player.
CDAHA is volunteer run! Everyone, from our wonderful coaches & managers, to our Board of Directors, to fundraising, and Thunderwear is all run by volunteers.
This year it is required for every family to volunteer at some point in the season. Volunteer requirements will be 4 hours for your first player and 2.5 hours for each player after. There are many ways to volunteer and get involved with your child's favorite sport! We are always looking for locker room monitors, penalty box monitors, and game clock operators. Check out our current Dibs for the latest volunteer needs.
To volunteer you must be SafeSport certified thought USA Hockey. Its free and takes only a little time to complete. Contact the Registrar with your USA Hockey Membership ID so we are sure to have a current record of your Safe Sport certificate!

Parents and athletes need to manage their SportsEngine accounts to ensure they get the most out of their Coeur d'Alene Hockey Association experience during each sporting season. With their accounts properly configured, athletes and their families will receive communications according to their preferences and be able to complete registrations more efficiently. SportsEngine has created a Team Management Guide for Parents and Athletes that will help our members with frequently asked questions about our website and mobile app.
Here is your quick start guide to creating an account and using the SportsEngine platform as an athlete or parent.
Keep connected to your team(s). Get schedules and team updates for every athlete in the house, plus a way to message other members on your team and a way to give coaches a heads up about practice. Enjoy unlimited access to scores & stats, photo/video sharing, and more.
In many instances, more than one parent or guardian needs to be in the loop with a child's sports life. Using the mobile app, you can add additional guardians to an account. Guardians can 1) View games and events 2) RSVP to games and events 3) Send and receive messages to coaches and team members 4) participate in team chat
Once you've created your account, add your mobile phone so you can receive text messages from your team manager or coach.
Now that you have your mobile phone on your account, make sure you enable text messaging and any other notifications.
