20. Covid-19 Guidelines
The safety of our players and families is very important to us at CDAHA. CDAHA, under the guidance of USA Hockey, IAHA, and Panhandle Health have come up with a list of protocols that we at CDAHA feel will help our families and skaters stay healthy.
Anyone that is showing any COVID-19 symptoms such as a fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, persistent cough, loss of taste and smell, please stay home until you are symptom free for 72 consecutive hours without the use of medication. Please notify your Team Manager or the BOD if your immediate household is experiencing any of these symptoms and/or a positive test.
We ask that participants come to the rink mostly ready to go as we are reducing the usage of the locker rooms. Don’t show up any earlier than 15 minutes prior to your ice session, and try to leave the rink within 15 minutes of session ending, as we are trying to limit the exposure time.
All coaches and spectators over the age of five will be urged to wear a face mask inside the building unless there is a medical condition that doesn’t allow them to wear one. While watching the practice or game make sure you are conscious of social distancing. All coaches on ice will wear a face mask.
Please limit spectators to 1 adult if at all possible.
There will be no association water bottles on the bench this season. Each skater must have their own water bottle with no sharing.
No sharing of equipment or towels.
There will be designated doors for entering and exiting the rink.
There will be limited usage of the benches during practice, when you can social distance.
We ask our CDAHA families to help us keep each other safe by supporting each other through-out the guidelines.
Policy is subject to change based on the State and local guidelines with decisions from the CDAHA BOD.
If you have been quarantined from school that falls in line with us as an Association as well. Please help us to stay safe.
